ABOUT

I am Yasmeen Abuarab, I was born in Cairo, Egypt in 1995 and graduated in 2018 from drama and theater criticism in the faculty of arts at Ain Shams university. I started my career as a translator in 2012 for some online guide magazine and I specialized in the music and cultural scene sort of articles and news, passing through several working experiences during college including a theatrical directing internship in Leila’s play by Hani Afifi and event coordinator at Room Art Space & Photopia. I started working as an assistant director in Hanager Arts Center for Log In’s play in late 2018 and 2019.
My passion has always been for music as I spent my childhood and teenage years singing and playing guitar until becoming a musician & songwriter in a starting alternative rock band.
Aside from metal and music obsession in general, I’m a glam art makeup enthusiast and meditation is my number one sport due to my spiritual beliefs and witchcraft.

Blessed be, ✨
